I know! They have wonderful products and they spend a great deal of time with their research! <33

I know they are not the latest to hit the market, however, they were and are ahead of the game, as the ingredient everyone is talking about is “plant stem cell” which on the ingredient list is listed usually as a fruit culture, StriVectin had this in the eye cream before the marketing dept of other companies decided to make it a “new” thing…they just have some of the best research I have seen, And I am all about research :)

I started putting hand lotion on my face at 12, and noxema around the same time (stupidly as a mascara remover). I had a makeup mentor, my great aunt from Hungary, perfect skin at 70, started me on the “home made” skin care from recipes from the old country at 13 with Aloe Vera leaf right from the plant, and Ponds cream. Also always took antioxidant vit. like C which prob. saved my skin, IMHO it is never too early. Sunscreen is vital no matter what your age, we need the Vit D but not the burn.

Here’s a question for you, what’s your take on when to start using anti-aging products?

I have several products from StriVectin and I really do like their products! <3

Thanks for the kind comment! The web site has a very interesting ‘magazine’ thing going on that discusses the benefits of starting earlier rather than later with their products. I know some of it is marketing, but I also know I wish I had known about or had access to StriVectin earlier than I did!

    Great review :)

In the blog and in the about section, and here, will add again, that I purchased this product, it was not sent to me for review nor received gratis, nor was this just a sample size. Purchased a full size product at retail price from web site, to ensure it was not altered and was StriVectin from the source, and this is the candid review.

    Thanks great question!
    No, not in topical application.
The niacin flush results from taking it, as a vit. supplement, as it goes thru the GI system it can have that effect.
I will add an addendum to the review regarding that!
The StriVectin web site explains how the molecule penetrates the top layers of skin as NIA-111, and diffuses slowly thru epidermis.
No redness from using StiVectin, which for me was something that would have me taking it back! All good in my experience on the skin!

Hi sweetie! Just wondering; does the niacin cause a reddening of the eye area? I know when I have taken niacin it gives you a “niacin flush” and I was just wondering if it does the same thing when applied topically. I’ve heard so many good things about the Strivectin and have seen it at T.J.Maxx at a good price. Thanks for sharing! I’ll check it out next time I’m in there. Hope you have a wonderful week! Hugs, Colleen xox :)
