The vitamin c serum helps keep bacteria under control. I’ve had people tell me that their acne started to clear up right away. :)

  2. nigella4me says:

Yes, the lotion has to be in the fridge too :)

I find alcohol makes my skin irritate, can you suggest anything else to keep bacteria under control? Does beautiful skin run in your family?

I feel so conned by the makeup and skin industry. They have made a fortune on products that don’t work & play on our desire to look beautiful. Everyone deserves to feel good about themself & know that what is going on their skin does what it says. I just tried the baby oil for removing eyeliner, much more effective! Vitamin C was AMAZING. Thank you so much for posting this.

My mother (who’s about 53 years old) also mixes her moisturizer with vitamin C and sprays herself with vitamin C (as far as I know) and she looks pretty youthful. I remember I asked her one day what she did to keep her skin youthful and she gave me almost as same advice as you did in this video. Of course, everybody has different methods. ;)
What I wanted to say is: Guys, Nigella is right and you should follow her advices if you want youthful skin.

    Thanks, Nigella. =)

One of the most impressive and original video on anti-aging I’ve ever seen. You look amazing and are a living proof that the tips you’re giving away so generously are really working. I was impressed by the sheer simplicity of your recipes: no fancy exotic oils, you even question the usefulness of facial massage which proved helpful to some people. Your tips are definitely worth trying.

Thank you and you’re welcome :) Yes, distilled water would be fine :)

  13. nigella4me says:

Yes, the one I use on my skin is the same that I drink, 100% pure ascorbic acid, any brand will do. :)

  14. Kitty CuteEyes says:

Hello You are very beautiful and so helpful! Thank You for this video! Could i ask about Vit. C serum – is can be distilled water? I cant find purified water in any pharmacy in UK! :)

Distilled water should be readily available. If you can’t find it in regular stores, look at petrol/gas stations or stores that sell car accessories.

Thank you for replying and for your help. Will do tomorrow. :D

  19. nigella4me says:

Hi. Boiling water won”t get rid of chemicals and metals. If you can’t find purified water, tap water will still work. :)

  20. Raisa Nerv says:

Hello. Thank you for sharing all your tips. You are indeed inspiring. Now, I bought my vitamin C, but I don’t seem to find purified water anywhere. Do you think boiled water would be a good alternative? Please let me know as soon as possible.

  21. nigella4me says:

Either one will work just fine :)

  22. sandragala1 says:

Just wondering if I purchased the correct vitamin c. Is there a difference between L-ascorbic acid and ascorbic Acid? Thanks in advance :)

  24. nigella4me says:

It depends on your skin and the damage done. I use the vitamin c under my eyes and my circles are very, very minimal :)
